Studio Q
For the past 20 years, Q Sound Soft has provided complex broadcast software to over 250 local radio stations and national networks. They contacted us to help them rebuild the user interface and user experience for their flagship product, Studio Q.

Behavioural analysis and market needs
The first part of the product UI and UX project was to analyse the usage patterns and habits of DJs and radio administrators.
Collating this data enabled us to identify their needs and build a modular structure to act as a basis for the construction of the entire software.
The concept of the new interface was based on a modern style, visually transposed into buttons and analogue structures specific to the radio industry.

Adapting the user interface to improve the user experience
By optimising the visual elements with the colour set and the utility structure, the interface was perfectly adapted to the working conditions and habits of the radio studios.
Merging the interfaces so that they work on a two-monitor system also gives the DJs all the work tools they need at a click of a button.

Confirming their status as the best broadcast software provider
Since showcasing the UI and UX improvements of Studio Q to existing users and potential prospects, it’s received an array of positive comments regarding its new functionalities and visual style.
As a result, it’s enabled Q Sound Soft to strengthen their position as leaders of the radio software market and give them a platform to drive more sales in the future.
