Creating a custom font which helped open doors for Loqness
As a part of a wider rebrand collaboration, we designed a custom font for innovative door handle lock supplier, Loqness.
Our team worked with the elements that were already present in the identity, shapes and lines of their products to create a custom font that’s recognisable and communicates “technology” and “smartness”.
A smarter font design
The custom font was created as an extension of the logo. Its design is dynamic, with each character having two states.
Everything revolves around the concept of “lock segments”. During the drawing process, we used the product designs to define and conceptualise the font.
The finished custom font is now used on all branded materials, both online and offline, acting as the main graphic device of the brand.
